From DLG to Promoting Equality

DA alumna Fatou Ndour on her career since graduating from DLG 51 in 2015

Fatou NDOUR

"Always promoting more equity and equality.

With an LLM in international crime and justice and master’s degrees in private law and international relations, my past duties and responsibilities provided me with the opportunity to professionally grow whilst working for a wide range of institutions, such as United Nations System organizations (UNICTR, OHCHR and UN Women), research and training institutions (Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights, the Austrian Center for Peace and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre) as well as international non-governmental organizations (Caritas).

Looking back and assessing previous and current position, I realized that mainstreaming of gender dimensions into human rights policies and capacity building programs has constituted a significant aspect of each position I have occupied before and after my DLG year. "
